Before uploading any horses for the league, please note the following:
- Horse files entered into the league must be the original horse files. They can't be renamed clones.
- You can only upload a horse once per season and in only one league
- If you upload it at 2yo, then it must finish the current season as a 2yo. You can use the same horse the following season, but it must be uploaded using the 3yo file.
- All new horses should be uploaded with a rating of 51. The section below will explain how to do this.
- If you are uploading a horse that's returning from a previous season, upload it at the appropriate age, and reset it's handicap to the rating it last ran at in the league.
How To Reset your Horse file
This will work for ALL the horses in your horses folder. So pre upload, put all the ones you are planning to add to the League, in the horses folder (within Starters Order game).
- Open the game and click "Race Builder"
- Click "Horses"
- Click on the first handicap rating and type 989 (using the numbers at the top of the keyboard).
- This will reset your horses' game record and reset their handicap to -
- Click on the first handicap rating again (-) and type:
- 975 - Your horse will now have a UK flat rating of 75
- 8 - Your horse will now have a US flat rating of 80
- 10 - Your horse will now have a NHC rating of 100
- Repeat for Hurdle and Chase
- You will see a button for "Flat" or "Jumps" located above the horse names to help you switch between disciplines.
How to Upload a horse
- Login to TOM
- Use the League Buttons in the top right hand corner of TOM, to choose you league stable that you wish to upload horses to.
- You will notice that the banner at the top will change to show the correct league.
- Under the Stable Menu, click the "Upload/Retire Horses" button. This will open another menu with several options
- Browse to the horse file you wish to upload
- Set the Gender, Racing Distance, Ground Conditions and whether is a game bred or home bred, correctly.
- The distance you use should be it's intended racing distance, and not it's breeding distance.
- Click Upload horse - You should get a message that the horse has been successfully uploaded.
If you wish to upload another horse, but, to a different stable
- Click the "Home" button located in the top right of the screen.
- Use the League Buttons in the top right hand corner of TOM, to choose you league stable that you wish to upload horses to.
- Repeat steps 4 to 7 as listed above.
