What is the SOPL?
The SOPL or 'Starters Orders Pro League' is a well established organization created by the Online Racing League World (ORLWorld) to offer multiplayer competition for players of Starters Orders Pro 3. With the introduction of breeding and multiplay features to the Starters Orders series some 4 years ago the league has gone from strength to strength. The breeding function allows players to export their best game and player-bred horses for competition amongst players from around the world. Over 130 trainers have competed to date in this league
Is the league really free of charge?
Yes, there are no fees whatsoever. The league is run by ORLWorld volunteers by people passionate about the game.I am interesting in joining but dont own Starters Orders? You need to own Starters Order 3 to compete in the league. It is with this program you train, breed and develop your stable. For more information including a playable demo of Starters Orders 3 click on the link at the bottom of this page
How do I Join the SOPL?
You must register in the Starters Order Pro League Sign Up thread. Include your Trainer name, the name of your stables and your country of origin. You are then an official SOPL member.
How do I export horses?
You export your horses from the main game. You can only export horses you actually own in the game. The exported horse file is then saved to your hard drive. The attached PDF document explains how to export, where to find the horse files, how to trial horses and other useful tips on when it is best to save horses. You can also ask people on the ORLWORLD forum as well which contains a wealth of information about breeding and exporting.
How do I import and view races?
Firstly you download the replay files from the League Website. You can then place these files in the correct directory and view them from the games 'Race Construction Kit'. See section 6 in the instruction document that came with your game for more information.
Where can I get more information on the League?
There is a 'full hat' write up in the Starters Order League Forum. Many trainers can answer your questions there
